    1. I'll never forget the Zenda books. After reading each one, I knew almost everything by heart. I finally bought the books to stop checking them out of the library. Each one has a special message and transported me to a magical place where flowers grow everywhere, or crystal spires rise from the ground, or rushing rivers are crowded by giant trees. Zenda is a likable but imperfect character, and the only thing I dislike about this series is that it cut off so suddenly. Even when I'm an adult, I'll [...]

    2. Even though this book series is something I read and clung to when I was a kid (and is therefore way below my current reading level) I found myself rereading the whole series this week because over the years I've found that when I'm going through tough times this series has always either a) made me feel better/calmer or b) has provided me with a sense of perspecitve.

    3. bless me. this is the first book i've read since my adhd has gotten really terrible. and i did it all in one night. i'm sort of proud of myself.but, i'll probably forget the names of the characters in this book over the next day. i already feel it just-- fading awayis book was cute. that's it. cute. it didn't make me feel much, and a lot of the plot points seem pushed and unnatural. like, that psychic just showing up towards the end. w-what?! where did she come from?this book was obviously aimed [...]

    4. Oh my gosh! Why do I have to be so talented? Why am I so special?! Ugh, I just turned these bluebells into red poppys! I must flee the room in embarrassment!Yes, I know it was meant for a younger audience. But still. Not really relatable.

    5. I remember reading this a long time ago and thinking it was imaginative. I want to get ahold of another copy.

    6. 2.75* - This book was pretty sub-par, so I don't understand it having so many high-rated reviews.Zenda is an impatient, bratty tween that cannot wait to be 13, so she can get her all-powerful gazing ball that controls her mystical gift/power. So, when friends suggest going to take a peek early on, Zenda is all for it. While glancing at it early, she removes it from the box - causing it to break into several shards and disappear. Of course, the rest of the book is about her feeling depressed that [...]

    7. this book is about a girl that has the power of her city in a gazing ball and they steel her ball and she is in danger i learned that people have really big responsibilites and that even if you think you got it you have to be very sure you can do it. you can find this book is the libary

    8. I have spent the last 3 years trying to figure out what the hell this book was called but now that I finally found it and reread the synopsis I just remembered that the reason it stuck in my mind for all these years is because I hated it. Well.

    9. i loved this book! i thought it was (this is cheesy) magical! i love magic and changing things to fit your needs and stuff like that.

    10. This is a book that really makes you think. Very interesting, and great book for young middle school girls!

    11. I read these in elementary school. I don't remember if I read all of them, but I remember really loving the cover art, and all the girls wanted to read them so they were hard to get out.
